De-Awner SE
Before barley, spelt or oats can be industrially prepared and processed, they have to be hulled, de-awned or polished. PETKUS De-Awners are special machines that gently remove awns, husks, clippings or beards, dissipates clumps and polishes seed.

Main features
- The agitator shaft is optionally equipped with round or square product-protecting pin beaters. Processing intensity is controlled by adjusting the speed and throughput.
- The De-Awner has a bolted housing made of painted sheet steel and a low-maintenance drive unit with electric motor.
- The product is rubbed against the outer mantle, which removes awns and husks from the grain.
