PETKUS had the great opportunity to host regional companies and organisations last week at our Headquarters to discuss, network and collaborate on three focus points: regional circular economy, reusable valuable material processing and waste management. RÖBER INSTITUT GMBH has extended its expertise in high-precision fine sorting to the recycling sector. Using advanced optical sorting systems, recyclers can unlock new opportunities in fine-material and resource recovery and access valuable fractions that have traditionally been lost during processing. By transforming losses into recoverable value, Roeber supports higher yields, improved process performance, and more sustainable recycling operations.With Carsten Gerhardt and Circular Valley as a professional accelerator for recycling and waste management in circular economy for Germany, Roeber introduced their sorting solution in this sector for the first time. Alongside our regional economy partners such as Bosch, Rittweger, ThEGA (regional energy agency), Eisenach city and economy council and Circular Valley founder C. Gerhardt, we hosted three impulse talks and workshops to find ways on how to collaborate and cooperate in reusing materials and waste to value sorting and processing.Thank you for your words, Carsten Gerhardt .
