HySeed bio

The HySeed bio technology hygienises seed with active steam, which enables effective, gentle and, above all, fast and targeted heat transfer to the surface and the inside of the seed. Pathogens such as fungi and bacteria as well as insect infestations are gently eliminated over a broad spectrum.

Methodology

Your seed performance is assured via online process management based on temperature curves managing to keep intensity within the ideal treatment window set by customer. So, each recipe is set individually as standard, crop or host specific to reflect your demand.

Working Principle

The hygienisation process is defined by three temperatures: steam, seed and supply air. While performing the process in a batch mode it is ensured that each single kernel is exposed to steam.

hygienisation – the seed is managed in a batch mode for uniform steam exposure. Optional agents can be added to the steam during or after the hygienisation.
re-drying – is gently performed in the same unit with individual defined temperature regimes.
Coating – the desired seed treatment can be applied via dosing system, but recommended in a separated process cycle.

The entire treatment process runs fully automatic and documents all necessary parameters. The HySeed bio unit can still be used as MultiCoater with its given functionality as a batch treater for film coating to pelleting.
