Optical Sorters Service & Recipe Development Training - 01.12.2022
In November, the PETKUS support team organized a training week on PETKUS' optical sorting technology. With strong international participation, we welcomed service technicians from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Spain, Kazakhstan and Romania as well as employees from Syngenta India to our headquarters in Wutha-Farnroda.
The aim of the training was to increase the availability of trained service personnel worldwide, across all time zones, for the numerous PETKUS optical sorters installed, as well as to increase customer proximity with shorter response times.
In addition to extensive practical training for service and commissioning on the various optical sorters (OS t, OS f, OS X), the German colleagues also provided theoretical background on the design, functional principle and recipe development of the OS series.
The social program with cultural highlights included a visit to the Christmas market in Erfurt and a guided tour through the snow-covered city of Eisenach.
Sales Training GROWING TOGETHER - 16.12.2022
Each project brings expectations, new challenges, and approaches to solving our customers' problems. Throughout the process, we focus on one parameter: customer satisfaction. To facilitate wholesome and comfortable client interactions even more, PETKUS Academy organized extensive product training for sales staff from different regions and time zones of the world.
The hybrid format of the training allowed the participation of over 30 colleagues live at the training location near Hanover and ca. 20 more online.
The program covered a range of topics: from deepening product knowledge and insights into existing and new markets to workshops on improving sales skills: “Concept of a modern soybean plant”, “New generation of cleaners”, “Latest developments in vegetable and seed technology, “New AI and upcoming optical projects”, “How to manage sales leads and bring it to success”.

The December training fully demonstrated the whole spectrum of PETKUS’ innovations and relentless improvement of solutions, products, and processes in the HQ. All this with the aim to transfer the advanced technologies and expertise in seed and grain cleaning further to our clients and to strengthen their businesses.
