Berlin. As part of the East German Economic Forum (OWF), Carsten Schneider, Minister of State and the Federal Government’s Commissioner for Eastern Germany, honored outstanding business leaders in Eastern Germany.
With great pride and joy, Anja and Mark Scholze (CEO of PETKUS) accepted the “VORSPRUNG 2022” Business Award—presented for high innovative business potential—from Carsten Schneider (Minister of State and Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern Germany) on Tuesday, March 17.
In his speech, Carsten Schneider emphasized that the East German economy has developed significantly over the past 30 years and has produced many good ideas for innovation.
He noted that the companies honored with the “VORSPRUNG 2022” Business Award are shining examples of the very competitive edge that the East German economy already possesses in many areas. This is primarily due to the entrepreneurial spirit and innovations of companies like PETKUS.
PETKUS looks back on 170 years of company history—a history of continuous improvement, development, dedication, and a pioneering role in technological progress. Innovation is the historical legacy of the company’s long history.
