New Coating Technology drives Enhanced Seed Quality: Barenbrug invested in a sophisticated PETKUS CM 100 Coating Line
It has to deliver exceptional quality. It has to be highly reproducible. It has to have the option to develop complex individual coating recipes. It has to set new standards. Having these requirements in mind, it was clear that it has to be a MultiCoater. When the Dutch grass and legume breeding company Barenbrug decided to initiate a seed processing technology upgrade in order to have leading-edge seed coating quality, their attention was drawn to the PETKUS MultiCoater “CM”.
Insider knowledge: Dr. Christian Engel, Product Manager Seed Coating, talks about “targeting seed coating quality”
The European Seed Insider Column highlights technological solutions for high quality seed coating. One conclusion for quality seed production lies in the technology. For sure, high reproducibility, reduced friction and coating homogeneity have to do with technology.
They drew attention to themselves through exceptional performance.
